- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a non-competitive, sole source purchase order to Amplicon Express, Inc, Pullman, WA. Amplicon will continue to perform DNA sequencing of PCR products. Products will be sequenced in both directions. Services will also include the establishment of electronic secure server platforms for the rapid and discrete transfer of sequence data between the contractor and the FDA Specifically, the contractor shall: 1. Use automated DNA sequencing technologies to provide reliable and accurate DNA sequences from provided PCR templates reading outward up to a minion of 500 bp in one direction. 2.Use the oligonucleotide primers provided by project officer to provide reliable sequence reads in both the forward and reverse directions on the DNA. 3. Provide all data in electronic format either via direct e-mail or in the case of more lengthy analyses, via a secure FTP server linked between the Division of Molecular Biology and the contractor. 4. Provide sequence text files and colorized chromatograms for each sequencing reaction that is run in either direction. This is not a formal request for quotes. However, the evaluations of other offers and any award decision will be made on a best value basis. The FDA intends to make an award immediately after the response date of this notice.
