- Description
- The FAA, Aviation System Standards Office has a requirement for maintenance services and related administration to service the BAe-125-800 aircraft, Canadair Challenger 601-3R, and other flight inspection aircraft operated by the International Flight Inspection Office in the European area. The support will provide for service for an interchangeable fleet over a five-year period (base year and four annual option years). This announcement provides notification of the FAA's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source, AeroDienst GMBh & Co. KG, Nuremberg Germany. The authority for "Single Source" acquisition is defined by FAA Acquisition Management System section 3.2.2.4. A market survey was conducted 7 April 2004, and results of the survey support our determination to solicit and negotiate with only one source. This announcement is for information purposes only.
