- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting quotes under Solicitation No. 786-198-04 for the following services: Contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to disassemble and reconstruct damaged wall of the maintenance storage building at Abe Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. All work shall be in accordance with the specifications, drawings, terms, and conditions of the contract. Pursuant to FAR 36.204, Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, this construction project's estimated price range is as follows: Less than $25,000.00. This is a 100% set aside for emerging small business. The NAICS code is 236210. Size standard for an emerging small business is $14.25 million. Requests for hard copy of this solicitation must be in writing. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests should be addressed to Paul C. Daugherty, Contract Specialist U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Centralized Contracting Division (41D3A), 5105 Russell Road, Quantico, VA 22134-3903. Requests for hard copy must be accompanied by a cashier's check or money order in the amount of $25.00 (non-refundable), payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." Please reference solicitation number 786-198-04 on remittance. Hard copy solicitation will be available on or about August 6, 2004 via the ordinary mail. An electronic copy of the solicitation (MS-Word Document) may be obtained FREE OF CHARGE via from either the VA's Business Opportunities System (http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov) or FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Electronic solicitations will be available for download on or about August 6, 2004. Responses to the solicitation are due by 4:30 PM, August 31, 2004. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available on the internet sites noted above. Quoters are advised that they are responsible to obtaining amendments. Numbered Note 1 applies.
