Description

This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quotation, numbered FA9401-04-R-0020. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 and the small business size standard is $28,500,000.00. The requirement is set-aside for 8(a) Business. This requirement is a fiscal year 2004 requirement. Funds are presently available for this contract. The government intends to issue an order for the Renovation of Building 20220: Item 01: Renovation of building 20220. See Statement of work and drawings. Item 02: Provide adequate bonds. NOTE: Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Contractors may access the CCR at http://www.ccr.gov/. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Period of performance is 159-days after date of contract. Please indicate FOB destination Kirtland AFB NM 87117 on quote.
