Description

Multiple Access Simulation Table. NSN: NA. Part Number: NA. Requirement: Proposed Solicitation number is W52H09-04-R-0420. Estimated Solicitation issuance date is 18 August 2004. The Edgewood Chemical Biological Command at Rock Island, IL ha s a requirement for a 6 degree-of-freedom (DOF) simulation table for simulation of truck transport of packaged commodities over rough terrain. The minimum specifications for this system are as follows: 1,000 pound payload, 10G vertical acceleration, 3G l ateral and longitudinal acceleration, +/- 4-inch vertical displacement, +/- 5-inch lateral and longitudinal displacement, +/- 7-degrees of table angle, 50-inches/second vertical velocity, 64-inches/second lateral and longitudinal acceleration. Proposed sy stem should be a complete ready-to-run system to include all necessary hydraulic sources as well as controller electronics. FOB is Destination Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, USA. Proposed solicitation is Full and Open Competition. This solicitation may incorporate specifications and drawings developed by a Government Technical Engineer and may be viewed via the Internet. Technical questions or clarifications shall be submitted to the below Contract Specialist not less than 15 calendar days prior to bid opening/receipt of proposals. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102. Hardcopies will not be provided.
