***ATTENTION***CONTACT CONTRACT SPECIALIST, ERIC TIPPIT, OR CONTRACTING OFFICER, BETTY ALLEN JONES, AMSAM-AC-LS-C, EMAILBETTY.JONES @REDSTONE.ARMY.MIL FOR ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS CONCERNING THIS PROPOSED ACQUISITION. PRON: AX462368FAX, NSN: 4920-01-327-1312, PN: 245-476854-001, Quantity: 50 each, with two 100% options, applicable to the UH-60, F.O.B. Origin with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. The Required delivery is 50 each, 223 days after contract award (DACA). This item is restricted to Canadian Commercial Corp. 98247, In accordance with DFARS 225.870-1, all contracts awarded to a Canadian contractor must be awarded to the Canadian Commercial Corp.(CCC), Cage Code 98247 and in turn the CCC will award the contrac t to the approved subcontractor, in this case CMC Electronics, Inc., the actual manufacturer, because the data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item de scribed above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Appro val Request For Aviation Requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
