- Description
- The BLM is soliciting for offers for the Skyline fuels reduction project. The project is scheduled to be advertised on or about August 9, 2004 and the size of the project is approximately 485 acres. The objective is to reduce hazardous fuels in the treatment area and create a mosaic by increasing the crown distance between large trees to at least three times the height of the tree. A prebid site tour is offered on August 18, 2004. Interested parties can meet at the BLM Grand Junction field office at 2815 H Road, Grand Junction, CO 81506, at 9 am. Local contact is Jim Dollerschell (970)244-3000. The project is estimated at below $100,000.00. Offers will be accepted through Sept 8, 2004 and can be mailed to BLM, 2815 H Road, EFO, Grand Junction, CO 81506 or faxed to (970)244-3130 or submitted electronically. This is a total small business set aside. (numbered note 1).
