Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Klamath Basin Area Office intends to issue a Request for Quote for fabrication of two (2) portable fish weirs. The weir consists of a connected array of 3-ft X 20-ft panels with polyvinyl chloride pickets (2 5/8 in spacing). The upstream end of the panel is hinged to a steel rail that is anchored to the stream bottom. The downstream end of each panel is lifted above the water surface by a 2 ft X 3 ft resistance board that planes upward in flowing water. The main components of the each weir include: 40 - 3-ft X 20-ft weir panels, 2 - 20-ft X 6-ft aluminum bulkheads, 4 - 3-ft X 6-ft rigid weir panels, substrate rail and bracket system, winch stanchion, fish passing chute, and live trap. Components: Weir panel- 20-ft X 3-ft (20 ft long, 1-inch schedule 40 PVC electrical conduit) Spacing 2 5/8-in Substrate rail 10 ft sections of ?-inch structural steel angle/3-ft long steel legs/?-inch X 5-ft rebar stakes Bulkhead -5-ft X 20-ft Rigid Weir -3-ft X 6-ft panels Passing chute -28-in X 28-in X 90-in (PVC) Live box -6-ft X 12-ft X 6-ft (high) Boat passage panels -104-in X 160-in weir All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated the solicitation will be posted to this website approximately 10 days after this notice is posted. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) prior to award. Offerors are advised that failure to register will render your firm ineligble for award. This reqiurement is issued under full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 332710. Small business size standard is 500. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less that $100,000
