- St. Louis, MO 63102 - Conduct a Comprehensive Condition Assessment on all Trees and Sidewalks, Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, 11 North 4th Street, Request for Quotation Number Q6520040010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561730 and the Small Business Size Standard is $5.0 Million (average gross revenue for the last three (3) years). MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: $2,500 - $25,000. NOTICE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS: This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. Work consist of furnishing all labor and materials to inventory all of the approximately 2, 550 plus trees, and complete a comprehensive condition of each tree. This assessment shall include, but is not limited to; species, location, diameter, condition rating, and valuation (current replacement value). Comments will include root/sidewalk conflicts, girdling roots, construction damage, mower damage, trunk wounds, etc. and maintenance needs as described in the scope of work. All trees shall be individually identified using the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial tree identification system and located by GPS coordinated on AutoCAD Arch Grounds site drawing. Vendor shall also conduct a sidewalk inventory and comprehensive condition assessment that includes surface condition including any cracks, lifts, misalignment, and spalling or flaking. Location of defects shall be identified on the grounds site map and coded to reflect type of defect. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed price contract that requires a lump sum bid. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance is twelve (12) weeks from issuance of notice to proceed. PUBLICIZING AND RESPONSE TIME: The solicitation package will be issued on or about August 19, 2004 with a return date on or about September 20, 2004.
