- Description
- The project has been cancelled. This project may be re-advertised at a later date. The project consists of the construction of an at-grade intersection with Canal Road and Georgetown University Southern Entrance, and an additional right-turn-only lane from Canal Road to the Whitehurst Freeway. The work includes removal of stone curb and portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement, roadway excavation, placement of temporary asphalt pavement, asphalt pavement milling, construction of asphalt pavement and PCC pavement, structural concrete for a retaining wall, installation of stone curb, a traffic control signal system, landscaping, utility conduits, luminaries and poles and other miscellaneous work on the entrance road.
