Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Business Center, Long Beach, CA is soliciting for the services of Social Workers to provide services at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (GLAHS), 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. on an as needed basis. Hours of coverage shall be approximately 8 hours per day with usage estimated at 40 hours per week. Estimated services of 15 to 20 Social Workers are required but the Government makes no guaranty of usage. The Government reserves the right to add additional VA facilities to the contract if required by VISN 22. Contract to be effective for the period of one (1) year, with the possibility of four (4) additional option year renewals. This procurement is being conducted under the FAR Subpart 13.5 test program. Simplified acquisition procedures apply. Procurement will be conducted utilizing a combination of Parts 12, 13, and 15 of the FAR. Qualified contractors wishing to receive copies of this solicitation must submit their requests in writing and are to be submitted to the attention of the Contracting Officer at the VA Network Business Center, 5901 East Seventh Street, Long Beach, CA 90822 or faxed to (562) 826-8067. No verbal requests will be accepted. Solicitation issues on or about August 16, 2004 and closes on or about September 17, 2004. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. NAICS Code 621399 applies.
