- Description
- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT 1N SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. The solicitation is issued as Request for Proposal number 222-05-2002(P). The NAICS code for this solicitation is 562111 with a size sandard of $10.0. The National Center for Toxicological Research, Jefferson, AR is soliciting for on site service for Waste Pickup/Disposal. SCOPE OF WORK ? The contractor will be required to provide dumpsters and equipment for the collection of and disposal of all solid waste generated at the National Center for Toxicological Research, Jefferson, Arkansas. This requirement contains provisions for two (2) option periods of twelve (12) months each in addition to the twelve month base period. Quotations are due in this office no later than September 7, 2004, by 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 dated June 18, 2004 APPLICABILITY OF FAR PROVISIONS. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items (JAN 2004); FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) FAR Provision 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (OCT 2003); FAR 52.215-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (MAY 2004). For paragraphs (b) and (c) of FAR clause 52.212-5 only the following are applicable to this acquisition(1),(5),(15),(16),(17),(18),(30)and(32). FAR 52.215-5 Facsimile Quotations. OFFERS SHALL INCLUDE WITH THEIR QUOTE/PROPOSAL A COMPLETED COPY OF FAR PROVISION 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS (MAY 2004). AWARD OF THIS ACTION IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FISCAL YEAR FUNDS. REFER TO FAR provision 52.232-18 Availability of Funds.
