- The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract with The Whitlock Group, Richmond, VA, under Request for Quote (RFQ) 056586. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals to this office by 2:00 PM, EDT, 8/30/2004, via facsimile to the attention of Ms. Theresa M. Powell, Contracting Officer, at (703) 632-1607. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System number is 42360, the size standard is 100 employees. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. Telephone requests will not be accepted. See Note 1 and 22.
