- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4814-04-R-TM05, Request for Quotation. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532120, Truck, Utility Trailer, and RV (Recreational Vehicle) Rental and Leasing, the size standard of which is $21.5M per year. This procurement is set-aside for small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. DESCRIPTION: This solicitation is for the 3 year lease of a 23 passenger bus with the following specifications: 1 each, New, CD player, TV and DVD, intercome, back-up camera with LED display, air actuated door, electrical rear step, chrome or polished aluminum weheels, white in color, interior color must be conservative in nature, i.e, grey, light grey, charcoal, etc. AC forward and rear, seatbelts for all passengers, rear divider for luggage space, rear windows tinted IAW Florida statue, fire extinguisher, carpet floor in passenger area, track lighting. All taxes and registrations will be paid by the contractor. DELIVERY ADDRESS: 2606 Brown Pelican Ave. Macdill AFB, FL 33621. FOB: FOB Destination. DELIVERY DATE: No later than 30 Sep 04. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES: The following FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses (http://farsite.hill.af.mil) apply: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors?Commercial. In accordance with 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items, offers will be evaluated based on price, technical acceptability, delivery schedule, adherence to applicable clauses and provisions, as well as past performance records.
