- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to issue a modification to increase the level of effort for Option Years, One, Two, Three and Four on Contract Number N68936-01-D-0036, using other than full and open competition. This additional level of effort is required due to increased workload since the initial Government estimates were developed. The increased effort must be sole sourced to Systems Application & Technologies, Inc., the contractor currently providing range test support under the subject contract. The work anticipated under the increase is identical to the labor categories and labor mix currently under contract; thereby making it impossible to separate out the work and competitively award the increased level of effort. The Government intends to increase the number of estimated labor hours for Option Year One by 60,929 hours, Option Year Two by 92,430 hours, Option Year Three by 92,430 hours and Option Year Four by 92,4! 30 hours, for a total increase of 338,219 labor hours for all four option years. Any firms believing that they can provide the services without impacting Range test scheduling may submit their qualifications and any other information considered pertinent to the requirement to the Contract Specialist within 45 days after publication of synopsis.
