Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure 10 thousand (10000) blades from Industrial Knife Co. (BLADES, 32 13/16" (+0, -1/32") long X 2" X .042" thick., UHB BLUE POLISHED SPRING STEEL WITH FULL RADIUSED EDGE. HARDENED AND TEMPERED BLADE MUST BE STRAIGHT WITHIN .005" OVER THE ENTIRE LENGTH AND FREE OF NICKS AND BURRS). This procurement action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Parts, 6.302 and 13.106-1 The resulting purchase order will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The procedures in FAR Part 13.106-3 shall be used.
