- Description
- The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to perform Janitorial Services at the Presidio of San Francisco. The Presidio is a National Park and a National Historic Landmark. Scope of services may include but is not limited to: (a) general janitorial services which would include cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, shampooing of carpets and hardwood floors; (b) cleaning and sanitation of restroom facilities; (c) steam cleaning of interior and exterior trash receptacles; (d) window washing from ground level to 60' above grade; (e) power sweep of parking lots; (f) cleaning of all kitchen area surfaces, including refrigerators inside and out; and (g) litter control. Contractor must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most work will be conducted Monday - Friday, but some work may be scheduled with less than 24 hours notice. Contractor must be familiar with waste reduction, recycling, buying recycled and use of environmentally friendly cleaning products. The Trust anticipates awarding 2 - 3 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts with a base term plus two option years. Proposals will be evaluated based upon criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), including but not limited to: Proposed Price; Past Performance; and Experience with projects of similar scope. RFP will be available on or about August 30, 2004; closing date will be stated in the RFP. DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. This solicitation is set aside for competition among Small Business concerns qualified under the criteria and size standards in 13 CFR 121 for NAICS Code 561720 ($14 million), including Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or HUBZone Small Business Concerns, and Minority or Women Business Enterprises certified by the City and County of San Francisco Human Rights Commission. The Presidio Trust is a wholly owned federal government corporation and is not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
