- NAICS CODE: 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. Description of Work: Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to pave a parking area and loading ramp with asphaltic concrete. The existing parking area has approximately 12-inches of aggregate surfacing; less in some defined areas. The existing surface shall be graded and compacted to achieve grades and drainage as depicted on the drawings. Crushed aggregate shall be placed as needed to improve the subgrade as determined in the field. The parking area shall be paved with bituminous concrete. Two parking stalls with handicap symbols and one access aisle shall be marked on the pavement. Two lines marking the loading ramp shall also be marked. The area of the parking area is approximately 3,015 square yards. (FAC 2001-21) Prospective offers must have a Dunns and Bradstreet number http://www.dnd.com and be registered in CCR prior to award of the RFQ. If your CCR registration is marked incomplete your offer will not be considered. It is your responsibility to register on line at http://www.ccr.gov. Site Tour is scheduled for, September 7, 2004 at 10:00am, meet at King Range Project Office 768 Sheltercove Road, Whitethorn, CA. Your contact will be Brad Job at 707-825-2336. The solicitation and associated attachments will be posted electronically on http://ideasec.nbc.gov/ on or about August 21, 2004 and will close September 20, 2004 at 11:59EST. No hard copies will be mailed, all quotes must be received electronically along with requested documents. Period of Performance is 15 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated start date is October 12, 2004, estimated end date is October 26, 2004. This RFQ is estimated not to exceed $100,000.00 and all awards over $25,000.00 will require 100% payment protection of either an Irrevocable Letter of Credit or Payment Bond and will be due within 15 days after award.
