Description: This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 8/20/04 with proposal opening date approximately 3 weeks following issuance. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: Pool Repairs, Bandy Creek, Big South Fork NRRA, Onieda TN The contractor will furnish all material, labor, equipment and supervision for repair and installation of all works to the pool and associated equipment. The pool is to be located at the Bandy Creek Campground and Recreation Site. The work consist of: Remove the existing filtration systems for both pools and replace all filters, pumps, chlorinators, valves, and related piping system. New replacement pumps, filters, chlorinating system and related equipment must be adequately size for the efficient pool operation. All valves and piping will be replaced from the floor up, including valves and fittings. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to identify all leaks, drain both pools, sandblast and seal cracks in bottom/sides of pools and repaint with epoxy pool paint. The price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. , The NAICS code for this projec is 23590 This procurement is a 100% small business set aside Request For Quotation and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations(FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures.
