Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, plant, material, parts, transportation, and incidentals necessary to replace 15,000 volt transformer, Building 3102, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The period of performance is 270 days. Work requirement consists of 22% Special Conditions, 2% Architectural/Structural; 9% Mechanical; 66% Electrical; and, 1% Fire Protection. Magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. This serves as a combination Synopsis and Pre-solicitation Notice as required by FAR 36.213-2. Any contractors receiving this as a pre-solicitation notice that does not want to receive future pre-invitation notices should advise this office. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on/about 24 Aug 2004 on the Government's Electronic Posting System at http://www.eps.gov. You must register at that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Paper copies are not available as the Government is moving towards paperless procurement. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr2000.com in order to be eligible for award.
