Description

The Army requires an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for Repair Roofs, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, and materials and performing all operations required to repair roofs. The work includes but is not necessarily limited to providing and installing gypsum decking, steel decking, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, roof installation, exterior insulation and finish system, strip shingles, built-up roofing, elastomeric r oofing, codified bitumen roofing, polyvinyl chloride roofing, metal framing reroofing system, standing seam metal roof, sheet metal work, caulking and sealant, lath and plaster, gypsum wall board, acoustical ceiling panels, paint, PVC piping, electrical co nduit and wiring, and removal of asbestos roofing. The NAICS code is 238160 and the size standard is $12m. The magnitude of the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 (base period plus two one-year option periods) with a guaranteed minimum of $25, 000. This solicitation is set-aside to be competed amongst 8(a) contractors serviced by the SBA Atlanta District. All eligible 8(a) firms may submit a bid which will be considered. The solicitation will be available for downloading at the time of issue from the Internet website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available.
