- The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for NSN: 4320-01-481-4914, Pump, Centrifugal, PN: 3186-9534-USCG, Qty: 4 each. Description: CRANE DEMING MODEL 3186 4X3X9-1/2 SIZE, VERTICAL, CLOSE COUPLED. RATED FOR PUMPING 500 GPM OF SEAWATER @ 280 FEET TOTAL DISCHARGE HEAD. IMPELLER DIAMETER SHALL BE 8-5/8?. ALL BRONZE CONSTRUCTION. EQUIPPED WITH 150# ANSI FLANGE CONNECTIONS (4? SUCTION & 3? DISCHARGE), A CHESTERTON 422 SPLIT MECHANCIAL SEAL W/AN ABRASIVE SEPARATOR MADE OF EITHER KYNAR OR STAINLESS STEEL LOCATED IN THE SEAL WATER LINE. IMPELLER SHALL BE KEYED TO THE SHAFT AND HELD SECURE IN PLACE BY A 316 GRADE SS IMPELLER SCREW AND WASHER. MOTOR: 75 HP CONTINUOUS DUTY, 3500 RPM, 440 VAC, 3 PHASE, OPEN DRIP PROOF NEMA C FACE JPV SHAFT MOTOR FOR USE WITH VERTICAL IN LINE PUMPS. MOTOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH IEEE45 & 46 CFR 111.25 WITH 316 GRADE STAINLESS STEEL SHAFT. MOTOR PROVIDED WITH GREASE LUBRICATED BEARINGS, A DRIP COVER, LIFT EYE BOLTS OR LUGS AND A 120 VAC SINGLE PHASE ANTI CONDENSATION STRIP HEATER. SERIAL NUMBER OF PREVIOUS PUMPS SUPPLIED TO THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE DC605976 & DC605979, WITH THE EXCEPTION THAT THIS PUMP REQUIRES STAINLESS STEEL SHAFT. The due date for submission on quotations shall be no later than August 20, 2004. FOB Destination, delivery to the USCG ELC, Warehouse Receiving Room Bldg. #88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. Quotation shall include; proposed delivery in days, pricing for all items, company tax identification number and duns number. Offerors must also fill out and return far clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (June 2003). All responsible sources may submit a quotation which if timely received shall be considered by this agency. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with subpart 12-6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
