- Description
- WR-ALC/LUKB has a requirement for engineering services to support the H-53 helicopter. The requirement is to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) engineering and technical support. The contractor shall perform engineering investigations, analysis, and testing support for USAF MH-53J/M aircraft flight performance with respect to T64-100 engines. This requirement is Sole Source to the OEM, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp, CAGE: 78286. The approximate issued/response date will be 26 Aug 04. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Justification: Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services from which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a requirement for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Vanessa B.
