Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about August 25, 2004. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL INQUIRIES REGARDING THE SOLICITATION UNTIL IT HAS BEEN POSTED. The National Park Service (NPS) in cooperation with the Chesapeake Bay Program has created the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network, a partnership system of national parks, state parks, refuges, museums, historoic communities and water trails throughout the Bay Watershed. To further capabilities of the Gateways Network, National Park Service is exploring the development and marketing of products that feature the cultural, historical and natural themes of the Chesapeake Bay region. National Park Service is soliciting for a firm-fixed price contract. Interpretive writing and editing services are required for a variety of print, on-line and interpretive media products for the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network (CBGN). Examples include but are not limited to: thematic posters/guides, interpretive brochures, guidelines, annual reports, interpretive waysides, tool-kits, manuals and web modules. This RFP may be used to contract with one or more writers and/or editors for specific work products. Details regarding specific requirements for this project will be provided in Solicitation N4250040110. Prospective offerers desiring to do business with the National Park Service are requested to register at the National Business Center. Federal Acquistion Regulations (FAR) 2001-16 requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov) prior to any award. NAICS: 541410
