Description
VA New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange Campus, Vascular Lab. Intends to negotiate Sole Source with Nicolet Biomedical, Inc to Acquire: Nicolet Arterial Testing Unit ZV-Vaso-06 Place of Performance is Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 385 Tremont Ave, East Orange NJ 07018 Description: Performs a full range of vascular physiological tests including: Lower and upper segmental arterial studies Doppler or PPG pressures PVR and/or Doppler waveforms Exercise Testing Thoracic outlet Lower and upper digit exams PPG pressures PPG and/or PVR waveforms Palmar arch exam Digit Vasospasm evaluation Impotence exam Venous exams Doppler, MVO, and/or venous reflux Carotid Doppler exam After preliminary usage this system performance was found to be exceptional. Performance allowed 10 channel simultaneous PulseVolumeRecordings?s and segmental pressures using the patented Quick Connect Arm and Hose TM, Color FastFourierTransform Spectrum Doppler?, display the varying intensities of Doppler signals in full color, allowing for easier analysis of abnormal frequencies. Can perform Transfer Function TestingTM which, in its ?quick screen mode? rapidly highlights regions of hemodynamically significant disease in native arteries or extremity bypass grafts. Using the Vasoguard with V-link will allow system connection directly to the hospital information system. Allowing the New Jersey Healthcare System Vascular Lab, to be able to receive vascular lab consults directly from CPRS. These Patient names and demographics will appear directly on the Vasoguard, eliminating unnecessary paperwork, as well as eliminate the possibility of errors and mistakes. The system will also automatically transfer the final report to the hospital system eliminating more paperwork and reducing the wait time for preliminary and final results.
