Description
The description is revised to read as follows: This requirement is for the repair/overhaul of Augmentor Cast Balance Nozzle Segment Assembly. National Stock Number (NSN) 2840-01-454-8449NZ, part number 4082989 and NSN 2840-01-332-3439NZ, part number 4079428 used on F100-PW-100/200/220/220E engines. The Government anticipates awarding a five-year, firm-fixed-price requirements contract (one-year basic period with four, one-year option periods) ? in addition to the options to increase the term of the contract, each year of the contract is expected to contain options for additional best estimated quantities (BEQs); the BEQs for each period are as follows: basic year ? Basic BEQ: 4,333 each, Option A BEQ: 1,444, Option B BEQ: 1,444, Option C BEQ: 1,445; option period I ? Basic BEQ: 4,637 each, Option A BEQ: 1,545, Option B BEQ: 1,546, Option C BEQ: 1,546; option period II ? Basic BEQ: 4,388 each, Option A BEQ: 1,463, Option B BEQ: 1,463, Option C BEQ: 1,463; option period III ? Basic BEQ: 3,733 each, Option A BEQ: 1,244, Option B BEQ: 1,244, Option C BEQ: 1,245; option period IV ? Basic BEQ: 2,320 each, Option A BEQ: 773, Option B BEQ: 773, Option C BEQ: 774; the anticipated delivery schedule for each period is as follows: basic period ? 722 per month, option I is 773 per month, option II is 731 per month, option III is 623 per month, and option IV is 387 per month starting 30 days after contractor receipt of order and reparables; Destination: Ship to FB2039, Tinker AFB; The award will be made to an approved source - Qualification requirements are available for this Part Number upon request. Qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive, Suite 1AG85A, Tinker, AFB 73145-3009, (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. Please note that the Government is not required to delay contract award in order to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. The Government plans to compete the requirement using performance-price-tradeoff procedures. The Government plans to release the solicitation and post it to FEDBIZOPPS on approximately 13 Sep 04. All proposals must be received no later than the closing date and time specified in the RFP (the date is expected to be 30 days after the release of the solicitation, but see the RFP for the final date and time). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Government. The award date is estimated to be on or about 5 November 2004.
