Description: Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, material, supplies, repair parts, tools and equipment, and all other items needed to plan,coordinate and ensure effective and economical performance and repairs, adjustment of and test all heating and cooling equipment, as specified. All work is to be performed throughout Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC and others specified. A tentative date has been set for a mandatory preproposal conference at the Rock Creek Park Maintenance Yard, 5000 Glover Road, NW. on Friday, August 27, 2004 @ 1:00pm. Proposals will be evaluated on the following criteria in decending order of importance: 1- Professional reference and experience(20points); 2-Professional qualifications, training and workforce(20points); 3-Price(20points); 4-Methodology(15points); 5-Equipment(10points); 6-Products(5points); 7-Safety plan(10points) Award will be made on a "Best Value" basis in accordance with the Evaluation Criteria listed above which are weighed according to their importance. A "Best Value" is defined as the offer that results in the most advantageous acquisition decision for the government. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Dept. of the Interior's National Business Center(NBC) Website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies will not be made available.
