- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is releasing this Screening Information Request (SIR) to acquire approximately 80 Runway Visual Range (RVR) systems. A Market Survey, FAACO-2090 was completed on April 2002 that indicated multiple sources of commercial products are available to meet FAA RVR requirements. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this SIR, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding. The FAA will provide a brief period for questions/comments. Questions concerning this announcement should be addressed to the FAA RVR Contracting Officer, Ms. Vickie Gordon by FAX at (202) 493-5037 or vickie.gordon@faa.gov.
