Description

The Veterans Medical Center in Hampton Virginia requires a Contractor to provide the facility, staffing, equipment and supplies required to perform Mammography examinations, in accordance with the statement of work in the solicitation package. The contractor must be certified for performance of mammography examinations by the American College of Radiology (ARC), Joint Commission on Accrediation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is preferred that the contractor have a location on both the Peninsula (Hampton, Newport News) and South Side (Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Chesapeake) in order to accommodate patients residing in both areas. If one contractor is unable to provide services on the Peninsula and Southside the contract may be awarded to a vendor in each geographic area. Contractor does not have to bid on the Southside and the Peninsula in order to be considered responsive. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their proposal. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency/capability to perform services and satisfactory past performance record. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and this acquisition is unrestricted. The size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 621512 is $11.5 Million. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
