- Description
- Description Z - This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and in accordance with FAR Part 14, Competitve Acquisition Procedures. The Department of the Air Force, Moody AFB, Georgia, intends to issue a Request For Proposals (RFP) to Remove Rubber from two Runways and associated Pavement Marking. This solicitation is based upon estimated quantities and is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 238990 is applicable to this solicitation. The size standard is $12.5 million. The project magnitude is $less than $100,000. The RFP issue date is on or about 16 Aug 04 and closing date is on or about 10 Sep 04. A firm fixed price contract will be issued with a performance period of 10 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 09/15/04. The RFP documents will be available for download electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website (the solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to USAF Offices, Air Force Special Operations Command, 347 CONS) or they can be purchased (service fee) from commercial blueprinting businesses (for example: Doughtery Blueprint and Supply, 229-244-5598; The blue Print Shop, 850-224-2699; Valdosta Reprograhics, 229-241-7955; Datatek-USA Plan Room Services, 888-539-8431 or other plan rooms) or review a copy at the 347 Contracting Squadron office. Paper copies will not be available. In order to submit a proposal, you must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at http://www.ccr.gov and use of a Dun and Bradstreet (Duns) and Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN) is required.
