- Description
- The NIST Acquisition and Logistics Division intend to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 with Instruments Systems to upgrade Spectroradiometer that NIST currently owns. Based on market research conducted by NIST, this upgrade may only be obtained directly from Instrument Systems. A Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order will be issued to Instrument Systems for this upgrade. The list of contract line item numbers (CLIN), their descriptions, the related quantity of each, and the unit of measure for the upgrade are as follows: CLIN 0001, UV/Vis Spectroradiometer; Model/Part No. CAS140C-152; Quantity: 1; Unit of Measure, Each; CLIN 0002, Complete set of UV density filters OD1, OD2, OD3, OD4 for CAS140C-152; Model/Part No. CAS 140C-252; Quantity: 1; Unit of Measure, Each. CLIN 0003, VIS/NIR CAS 140C Spectroradiometer; Model/Part No. CAS140c-153; Quantity: 1; Unit of Measure, Each. CLIN 0004, Software (for both spectrometers); Model/Part No. SW-231; Quantity: 2; Unit of Measure, Each. CLIN 0005, LabView Driver Software for CAS140B; Model/Part No. SW-233; Quantity: 2; Unit of Measure, Each. CLIN 0006, Illuminance/irradiance probe with diffusor, Model/Part No. EOP-120; Quantity: 1; Unit of Measure, Each. CLIN 0007, Optical fiber bundle, 1.5.mm diameter, 190 to 1350 mm, 2m long, Model/Part No. OFG-424; Quantity: 1; Unit of Measure, Each. CLIN 0008, Optical fiber adapter, 190 to 3200 mm, optimized for UV, Model/Part No. PLG-420; Quantity: 1; Unit of Measure, Each. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST), Shipping and Receiving, 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20899. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. However, parties that are authorized by Instrument Systems to perform such an upgrade may respond to this notice of intent to indicate their capability and authorization to perform such an upgrade. Such notice must provide written evidence from Instrument Systems that the party is authorized to perform such an upgrade. If such a notice is received within before the response date for this notice being published, then NIST may make a determination to compete this procurement.
