REF SOLICATATION NO: FY151947400219 DUE: September 1, 2004 POC: Rodger Owen Young, 661-277-9569 (voice) EMAIL rodger.young@edwards.af.mil COMBINED SYNOPOSIS AND SOLICATION DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition. These services are Sole-source to University Of California, Los Angeles, CA, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace, Attn Professor Thomas Hahn, 48-121 Engineering IV, Los Angeles CA 90095-1597 Phone 310-825-2383. The award is Unrestricted. The NAICS code is 541690. Service is specific and related to requirements of requesting activity, Air Force Research Laboratory. The following Services will be procured: CLIN 001: 1st INSTALLMENT, MEET WITH ROCKET INDUSTRY PRIME (ATK THIKOL OR AEROJET) PERFORM MATERIAL DOWNSELECT AND SUBMIT INITIAL REPORT ON RESEARCH PATH TO PERSUE, DUE BY AUGUST 30, 2004. CLIN 002: 2 Nd INSTALLMENT, SUBMIT REPORT AND GIVE PRESENTATION (ONLINE OR IN PERSON) IN AFRL/PRSM ON INITIAL REPORT AND 1ST STAGE OF RESEARCH EFFORT. DUE BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2004. CLIN 003: 3 RD INSTALLMENT, GIVE PRESENTATION (ONLINE OR IN PERSON) TO AFRL/PRSM RESEARCH CONDUCTED UP TO THE POINT ALONG WITH FINAL PLAN FOR TEST COUPON DELIVERY. DUE BY NOVEMBER 30, 2004 CLIN 004: 4 TH INSTALLMENTS, INITIAL REPORT DETAILING ALL RESEARCH CONDUCTED ON THE PROGRAM. DELIVERY OF NO LESS THAN 4 TEST COUPONS 2" X 2" IN SIZE.
