Description

The Air Force intends to award a competitive and commercial purchase order for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES, to be set aside for small business companies, to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation and parts necessary to provide rental pickup, cleaning, and weekly delivery of 18? x 18? shop towels, quantity 9,675 of any color, quantity of 1,625 white only and seven (7) 4? x 6? dark gray mats to building 230, Tinker AFB, OK, for a period of performance 1 Oct 04 ? 30 Sep 05. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The estimated date for issuance of the solicitation is 30 Aug 04. The estimated award date is no later than 30 Sep 04. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this synopsis. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
