This is a synopsis for commercial items. A Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order is contemplated with one (1) Basic and four (4) Out-Year Options. ITEM 0001: NSN: 1095-01-212-9200. PN: 99A-LH-P. NOUN: Left Hand Hip Holster. QUANTITY: 356 Each. OUT-YEARS: Minimum 1 each, Maximum 400 Each. APPLICABLE: 9MM Beretta. DIMENSIONS: 2 ? X 8 ?. MATERIAL: Leather. FUNCTION: Holds 9MM Beretta. DESTINATION: TBD. DELIVERY: Basic Quantity, 90 days AFAA. ITEM 0001AA: FIRST ARTICLE: 2 Each. DESTINATION: WR-ALC, ROBINS AFB, GA. DELIVERY: 120 days ARO contract. INSURANCE BUY: MISSION ESSENTIAL QUANTITY, 200 each. PRODUCTION QUANTITY, 157 each. The approximate response date is 31 August 2004. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. INSURANCE BUY This acquisition will be processed in accordance with AFMC, 5317.7590-4 (Mission Essential Quantity): If a proven source is not the low offeror, the basic quantity may be split into a First Article quantity, for award to the low unproven offeror, and a Minimum Essential Quantity, for award to the proven source, with the balance of the requirement established as options in both contracts.
