Description

The Vicksburg Consolidated Contracts Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Endeavor Information Systems Incorporated, 1350 E. Touhy Ave., Suite 200 East, Des Plaines, Illinois 60018. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Endeavor Information Systems is the only known source capable of meeting the Government's re quirements for supporting and maintaining this sytem, which provides all patches/upgrades to the system and its modules. The purchase of non-compatible maintenance lacking the required features will adversely impact the Government's mission's requirements . The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:00 CST on 23 August 20 04. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open compe tition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Interested parties may submi t any information for consideration by the Government to Becky.A.Harsha@mvk02.usace.army.mil and Jack.L.Peterson@mvkk02.usace.army.mil with the solicitation number referenced in the subject line. NOTE: Both parties must receive any submissions.
