Description

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to renew a software maintenance contract on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to the Emergency Care Research Institute, 5200 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462-1241. The contract period of performance shall be 1 October 2004 - 30 September 2005. The renewal software maintenance is the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) automated information system which implements a Tri-Servic e suite of systems/applications that standardizes medical logistics among the Services, reduces the time providers and health care professionals spend on logistics activities, and improves the effectiveness and efficiency of health care delivery. Interest ed persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be consid ered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No formal solicitation shall be issued.
