- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, Florida intends to award British Aerospace (BAE) Systems, Elettra Avenue, Waterlooville, Hampshire, P07 7XS, GBR on a sole-source basis the acquisition of 14 each VEMS Umbilical Adapter Cables, part number 101006-9004-ASY, 11 each VEMS Umbilical Cables, part number WAB 910, 6 each VEMS Umbilical Cables, part number WAD 371, and 15 each VEMS Umbilical Interface Cards, part number 101006-9001-ASY. These units are required to support the existing government owned VEM systems, which were developed by BAe Systems. These components are proprietary to BAe Systems. Therefore, only BAe Systems can supply these required components. Delivery will be made by 26 November 2004 for the first three items and 05 January 2005 for the last item to Naval Support Activity Panama City, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. NAICS Code 334419 applies. SBA Size Standard is 500 employees. FSC is 5998. A request for quotation will be utilized in awarding thi! s action on or about 29 Aug 04.
