- Description
- Science, Engineering and Technical Assistance for the Mid-Range Munition Program. This requirement is to provide a high level of expertise to provide technical evaluations, analyses in the areas of target acquisition/fire control, gun propulsion, warheads/lethality, guidance and control, airframe structures and control surfaces and projectile system/fire control integration. Also included are the generation of test plans and reports, on- site test support, data reduction, evaluation of test results, mission effectiveness analyses, cost effectiveness analyses and participation in test readiness reviews. Services shall be on-site at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. Period of Performance is for one (1) year from the effective date of contract with option for one (1) additional year of performance, which would commence immediately on the completion of the base year. This procurement is Sole Source to Science and Technology Associates, Inc. (STA). STA possesses specific MRM program experience in the areas stated above, which uniquely qualifies them to perform this contract without detrimental affect to cost and schedule of the program at this time. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. Procurement history is Sole Source to (STA).
