Description

The USDA Agricultural Research Service in Phoenix, AZ has a requirement for an image capture system consisting of a 3 CCD digital camera interface board, software, workstation, 21? high resolution monitor, microscope 1.0x & 2.0x apochromatic objectives, 500 mm column, guiding stage & trinoular photo tube, light source, dual light guides, post clamps, led ring light, 0.45x C mount coupler for 3CCD camera & installation & training, The system is dedicated to microscope digital photography & image analysis, Subject ?insects,mites,spiders etc?. To accomplish our needs we require a 3 CCD system that dedicates a single CCD chip to each color RGB. Color accuracy is critical for image analysis; The software merges the separate images in the depth of field producing a perfect 3 dimensional image. The Syncroscopy System is the only system known with a 3 CCD digital camera & fire ware data connection. The software offers several options for image merging, generates detailed depth, confidence maps & color relief images. The software, scope, motorized focus control, computer systems are integrated to ensure that the system works up to expectation. The USDA intends on negotiating with the only known source Syncroscopy. An RFQ is not available for this procurement action interested firm is encouraged to submit proposals to the attention of Fred Gifford as listed in the notice. See numbered note 22.
