Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, Virginia, intends to procure on a sole source basis the following items: (1) P/N 330400-5X Portable Rugged VME Workstation (2 ea); (2) P/N 900032-01 NRE for documentation package (1 ea); (3) P/N A00054-02 73 GB Mass Media Storage Disk (2 ea) (to be installed in item number 4); (4) RJR110 Series Removable Drive Module and Receiver Assembly (no p/n) (2 ea) (to be installed into P/N 330400-5X (item number 1 above); (5) 20/40 GB DAT Drive (no P/N) (2 ea); (6) Shipping and Handling no P/N (l lot). The items shall be furnished by Macrolink, Inc., 1500 North Kellogg Drive, Anaheim, CA 92807. Items must fit with existing programs being utilized through ICSTF/San Diego, CA. Specifications for the workstation include 6-slot monolithic J1/J2/J0 VME64X backplane with auto-busgrant; all metal swing out cage; 580 watt auto-ranging power supply with universal AC input; 17 inch 1280 x 1024 LCD display with A/R finis! h; mounting and power for two fixed 5.25 inch HH peripheral devices; sealed PS/2 keyboard and 3-button trackball; mixed width blank 6U I/O panels; filtered forced-air cooling; thermally controlled fans; environmentally gasketed front/rear covers and peripheral access door; top hinged rear cover; MS38999 AC power connector; line cord with flying leads; welded 6061 aluminum construction; olive drab powder coat finish; meets MIL-STD-810. 20/40 GB drive shall be DDS-4 ultra SCSI; 36GB drive shall be 16-bit, 10,000 RPM ultra SCSI; 73GB drive shall also be 16-bit, 10,000 RPM ultra SCSI. Delivery of above items shall be NLT 10 WKS ARO. Delivery shall be made to Shipping & Receiving Office, Combat Direction Systems Activity (CDSA), 1922 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2097. As a result of this notice, there will not be a written solicitation issued. Responsible vendors shall submit their bids to XDS18@nswc.navy.mil on or before closing date of 31 August 2004. Or, bids! may be faxed to either of the following numbers: 540-653-7016, 540-653-6812 or 540-653-7276. Or, bids may be hand carried to NSWC, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Bldg. 183, Rm 200, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. Items shall be shipped F.O.B. Destination. Responsible vendors shall include in their responses at a minimum, the following: Quote, Dun & Bradstreet number and proof of current CCR (central contractor registration). Anticipated award shall be on or before 03 September 2004. FSC 7022. NAICS 334111. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized in the award of this requirement.
