Description

This announcement constitutes Modification #1 to RFP 128524, posted on August 17, 2004. The modification is to change the response date to September 10, 2004, and correct the NAICS code. All other terms and conditions of the original presolicitation notice remain the same. Any inquiries shall be directed to Mrs. Margaret D. Einspahr at meinspahr@fbiacademy.edu, or by facsimile to (703)632-1844. The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to award an Indefinite Delivery ? Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as name brand or equal for Sony video monitors, video tape recorders, time lapse recorders, video printers, printer paper, video cameras, camcorders, digital still cameras, cd media, lens?, filters, lights, televisions, tapes, audio recorders and supporting ancillary equipment and supplies. As used in this solicitation, the term brand name includes identification of products by make and model. Such identification is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive. If the offeror proposes to furnish an equal product, the brand name and product descriptions to be furnished shall be provided in the proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310, and the business size standard is 750 employees. All incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. Request for Proposal (RFP)128524 is assigned. This is not set aside for small business concerns. Delivery of products ordered shall be provided on an FOB destination basis to the FBI, Engineering Research Facility, Quantico, VA, or locations within the CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The guaranteed minimum is $300,000.00 with an estimated maximum of $25 M over the life of the contract (award year plus four, one year options). The estimated RFP release date is 8/31/04, and will be available for distribution through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
