- Description
- This is a commercial item acquisition using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Solicitation, Evaluation, and Award procedures of FAR Parts13.106-1, 13.106-2, and 13.106-3 are being used. The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to purchase the following: Pump, Vacuum Marine Toilet, Brand Name, SeaLand VacuFlush Model 115, or equal, estimated quantity is two (2) per year, except for option year two, when the estimated quantity is four (4) per year. Toilet, Vacuum Marine, Brand Name, SeaLand VacuFlush Model 1008, or equal, estimated quantity is two (2) per year, except for option year two, when the estimated quantity is four (4) per year. Tank, Vacuum Generating Marine Toilet, Brand Name, SeaLand VacuFlush Model 7291, or equal, estimated quantity is two (2) per year, except for option year two, when the estimated quantity is four (4) per year. The line items purchased hereunder shall be provided with Commercial Data for Provisioning (DFP) (Base Year only), and Commercial Warranties. This acquisition is being conducted on a Brand Name or Equal basis. A requirements contract, which will provide for a base year and four one-year options, will be awarded as a result of this competition. The estimated quantities per year are estimates only and are subject to change. All responsible sources for the Brand Name or Equal items are invited to submit a quotation/proposal, which shall be considered by the US Coast Guard. All technical data required to respond to the solicitation will be furnished as part of the RFQ. The details of the salient characteristics, a complete description of the contract line items and times of delivery will be included in RFQ HSCG40-04-Q-41396, which will be released on or about August 27, 2004.
