Description

The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, supervision and equipment necessary for tree maintenance activity?pruning, removal and stump grinding of 165 trees at the United States National Arboretum in accordance with the Statement of Work, all Federal, District of Columbia, laws, regulations, codes, licenses, and directives. A site visit is scheduled for August 25, 2004 8:30 a.m., meeting in front of the Administrative Building at the United States National Arboretum. The address of the Arboretum is 3501 New York Avenue N.E. Washington, D.C. 20002. This synopsis for a commercial service is prepared in accordance with FAR part 12 Acquisition of commercial items in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about August 23, 2004 and can be downloaded by logging on to http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Interested parties must download the solicitation and all corresponding amendments. Please be advised that any subsequent amendments to this solicitation shall be posted at the same website without further notice. All offerors are responsible for the complete solicitation package and any subsequent amendments. Only written requests stating that the solicitation could not be accessed will be mailed, but the Contractor is still responsible for requesting the amendments, if any. Reference solicitation number (11-3K47-04) on all inquiries. Request for Quotation (RFQ) 11-3k47-04 is incorporating provisions and clauses through FAC 2001-24. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 and annual size standard is $6.0 million. This is a small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award date is September 20, 2004.
