- The VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with American Red Cross, 307 Vine Street, Johnstown, PA 15907-1000 for blood products and services. Anticipated contract period is 10-1-04 through 6/30/05. Interested parties must respond in writing with their qualifications/capabilities within 10 days from the date of this publication. The determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. See Numbered Note 22.
