Description

The purpose of this modification is to provide revised specifications to the guard shack, which are more detailed. The changes are reflected in p. q. r. s. and t. With this revision, the requirement?s closing date will be 4:30 p.m. CST Tuesday, 24 Aug 2004. Any questions about the revisions should be emailed to marcia.wuebbels@scott.af.mil. a. 144? X 75? X 90 ?? Guard Shack b. Standing Seam Room w/3? overhang c. Entire gate shack will meet NIJ Level III bullet resistant standards d. Red Brick exterior wall panels e. Raised rubber disk floor, Black f. Two (2) 22? deep steel counters with one drawer each g. One (1) Single Phase 12 circuit load center with main breaker h. Four (4)-115V Outlets i. One (1) thru wall HVAC (Heat and Air) 17,800C/15,000H BtU j. One (1)-230V Outlet k. One (1)-conduit access cutout in floor l. Four (4) exterior Incandescent spotlights m. One (1) telephone jack n. Two (2) forklift pockets o. Interior fluorescent lighting p. Top will contain a minimum 47? of glass for 360-degree field of view. This will be the upper half of the gate shack, not the roof. The bottom of outside walls will be brick panel and top half of walls will be glass for 360-degree view. (Glass will meet NIJ level III standards consistant with the rest of the gate shack.) q. Guard shack will be insulated. r. Two standard dimension-sliding windows (like drive through windows) on both long sides of the guard shack. s. Top of gate shack will be metal with a pitched roof meeting at a peek. There will not be a ceiling or flat roof. Roof does not have to be NIJ Level III. t. There will be two sliding doors on the long side of the gate shack; the doors must meet the NIJ Level III capabilities. They will be 24? in width, with the upper half glass and the lower metal.
