- The Government intends to award a four (4) month extension to contract DABT63-98-C-0060 commencing 1 October 2004 through 31 January 2005 under the provisions of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The following functions are included: GENERAL-includes administration and management operations, physical security, safety, quality control and Government Property Administration. TRANSPORTATION SERVICES-includes (1) operating a trans portation motor pool for the purpose of dispatching GSA non-tactical wheeled vehicle fleet, administering a driver testing and licensing station, operating a limited post bus service, maintaining and operating a vehicle weigh scale and providing limited dr iver support; (2) providing traffic management services to effect movement of personnel (both TDY and PCS) and personal belongings, arranging port calls for overseas travel, preparing all necessary travel documents, classifying freight, and shipping/receiv ing supplies and equipment in support of the installation and assigned/attached units and activities. MAINTENANCE-Includes preventive maintenance, lubrication, servicing, repair, trouble shooting and diagnosis of malfunctions; removal and replacement of pa rts, components and assemblies; overhaul and rebuild components; estimating cost of repairs; machine shop alterations; limited woodworking; welding; body and fender repair and painting; vehicular type air condition equipment and servicing and repair; and u nder circumstances, repair of equipment in the field. SUPPLY AND SERVICES-includes requisitioning, receiving, storing, inventory, issuing, and maintaining formal accountability for all material, supplies, and equipment (excluding engineer, medical and airc raft) required to support units/activities (including reserve and ROTC) satellited on Fort Huachuca. Facility operation and management of ammunition supply point, central warehouse, commodity management, troop issue subsistence activity, fuel and oil dispe nsing, hazardous material center and central issue facility, directs, provides advice, and coordinates logistics functions pertaining to installation organizational type property.
