- Description
- Vessel(s) Required: U.S. or foreign flag tug and Ro/Ro barge to transport approximately 3,500 STONS of loose materials. The vessel may make multiple voyages to transport the cargo, but must be capable of carrying a minimum of 1,500 STONS of cargo per voyage. In accordance with the Cargo Preference Act of 1904 and Section IIIA.3 of the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) (see 68 FEDERAL REGISTER 8800-8808, February 25, 2003), preference will be given to U.S. flag vessels and VISA participants.
