- Description
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), ENERGY STAR Residential Branch (ESRB) intends to negotiate a sole source extension of Contract 68-W-02-031. The contract?s purpose is to develop the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR initiative under EPA?s ENERGY STAR Home Improvement Program. This initiative is a whole house approach to improving energy efficiency cost-effectively for home owners. The extension is being executed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The time period of the extension will be from September 15, 2004 through October 31, 2004. This is not a request for proposal. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA?s requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
