Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constittues the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solictation will not be issued. FA4664-04-T-0009 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquistion Circular 2001-18. This is a 100% small business set-a-aside NAICS code 541380 size standard $10.0 million. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, and other items and services necessary for hydrostatic testing and 6-year maintenance of (93) 150lb. Halon fire extinguishers and hose, rust removal and painting of those units that require it, but leaving all existing labels and markings unpainted. Each extinguisher may need different work done to it past the 6-year tear down and hydrostatic test at March ARB, CA. FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation factor is the overall lowest cost and past performance. Offerors needs to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with it?s offer. 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditons-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisiton. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statues or executive orders-commercial items, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.222-41 Service Contract Act of 1965, as Amended, FAR 52.222-42 Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires class 23760 at $18.04.
