Description

COMNAVMARIANAS, GUAM has a requirement for a contractor to provide labor to accomplish overhaul and preservation for One Paint Float. The Paint Float has been removed from the water due to broken timbers including walking deck, cellular floats, bent/corroded metal float frames and fasterners. The place of performance is in Guam at Uniform Wharf . This requirement is restricted to Guam area. Work to be performed includes: Removal and Disposal of all timbers including walking deck. Repair metal float frames, sandblast or hydro blast the metal framework to acceptable levels for painging. Primer paint and cover with top paint as necessary to preserve the metal. Replace all timbers removed. Replace cellular floats as required. Install new fasterners throughout the paint float. Government will provide crane services to rotate paint float and allow for access all around. Twenty-four hour notification of crane service is required. Site visits can be arranged with Dan Quicho by calling (671) 339-6688. Work must be completed 45 days after award of contract. The proposed procurement is a 100% small business set aside.
